Does Resveratrol Prevent Prostate Cancer?

Research studies concerning resveratrol and prostate cancer have been promising. Researchers believe the results warrant future investigations concerning resveratrol prostate cancer prevention and treatment.

The antioxidant appears to inhibit the growth of cancerous cells, according to studies sponsored by the National Institute of Health in the United States. In later studies concerning resveratrol and prostate cancer, researchers included other phytochemicals, which are plant components with activity similar to, but different from, those of resveratrol.

Some phytochemicals inhibit the grown of cancerous cells while others cause them to commit suicide. Living cells are amazing things. You really wouldn’t believe everything that’s going on within them every minute of every day.
